We revised the use of "a", "an" and "the".
I have tree in my garden. Tree is tall and green.
I have a tree in my garden. The tree is tall and green.
We also looked at writing questions in the present tense. We practiced the questions on p.11.
It is important to remember that we use "do" for questions, except for He, She, and It where we have to use "does".
Where do you live?
Where does she live?
With the verb To Be, we do not use "do" or "does" in the questions...
He is happy.
Is she happy?
Are they happy?
We also looked at Countable and Uncountable nouns....
we can count countable nouns - 1 pen, 2 pens, 3 pens
We cannot count uncountable nouns - we cannot say 1 air, 2 airs, or 1 grass, 2 grasses
We cannot make uncountable nouns plural - no "s" for uncountable nouns
