In this class we looked at the Present Perfect Continuous
I have been living in Sligo for 4 years.
have
has + been + verb-ing
We use it to describe an action or a situation that started in the past and continues to the present.
We use it with "for" and "since".
I have been playing guitar for 20 years.
I have been playing guitar since 1997.
We practiced asking questions....
How long have you been living in Sligo?
How long have you been working?
How long have you been playing guitar?
How long have you been driving a Citroen?
I have been working here for 3 years.
For homework we have to make similar sentences about ourselves...
I have been living in Sligo for....
I have been running for.....
